These Terms of Service govern your use of SB SubZero's HVAC and appliance repair services. By using our services, you agree to these terms.

Service Agreement

Scheduling and Appointments

  • We will make reasonable efforts to arrive within the scheduled service window
  • An adult (18+) must be present during the service call
  • Please ensure clear access to the appliance or HVAC system needing service
  • Cancellations should be made at least 24 hours in advance when possible

Diagnostic and Service Fees

  • A diagnostic fee applies to all service calls
  • The diagnostic fee is applied toward repair costs if you proceed with the repair
  • You will receive a detailed estimate before repair work begins
  • Additional issues discovered during repair may affect the final cost

Warranty

Parts Warranty

Replacement parts are covered by manufacturer warranties, typically 90 days to 1 year depending on the part. We will inform you of the specific warranty period for parts used in your repair.

Labor Warranty

Our workmanship is warranted for 90 days from the date of service. If the same issue recurs within the warranty period due to our work, we will return at no additional labor charge.

Warranty Exclusions

Warranties do not cover:

  • Damage caused by misuse, abuse, or neglect
  • Issues caused by power surges or utility problems
  • Repairs performed by others after our service
  • Normal wear and tear
  • Cosmetic damage

Payment Terms

  • Payment is due upon completion of service
  • We accept cash, credit cards, debit cards, and checks
  • For larger repairs, payment plans may be available upon request
  • Parts may require a deposit for special orders

Limitation of Liability

Our liability is limited to the cost of services provided. We are not responsible for:

  • Pre-existing conditions not caused by our service
  • Food spoilage or other consequential damages
  • Delays caused by parts availability
  • Issues beyond our reasonable control

Customer Responsibilities

  • Provide accurate information about appliance issues
  • Disclose any known hazards (water damage, electrical issues, etc.)
  • Ensure safe access for technicians
  • Secure pets during service calls
